È TORNATO LU “SANT’ANDONIJE”

Typical dinner and show with the "P.G. Lerario " CHOIR

(Jan 29^th, 2011) It is celebrated in Silvi this year're-enactment of "lu Sant'Andonije Abbate", thanks to Coop. Laser which has organized a wonderful evening in the premises of the Senior Center, as usual, sold out. The extraordinary "laserine" wanted to characterize the event happily combining the folk revival with a typical dinner of the culinary tradition of Abruzzo. A delicious polenta with sausages and fat and lean pork as the main course , and dessert as the typical "cillitte" with grape jam (produced masterfully by the expert hands of the women of the "cake house"). A great wine Montepulciano accompanied the polenta and sweet vin santo " cillitte them". In the course of our convivial Choral "PG Lerario "presented two versions of "lu Sant'Andonije" with Vincent Comignani (called Pavarotti) in the guise of an imposing Sant'Antonio Lanfranco in Loreta those of a demon unleashed, accompanied and supported by the Choir, directed (in this occasion as an accordionist) from our director Franco Costantini who oversaw the musical reworking of the two songs. The choir has, then , entertained the guests with some folk songs drawn from his extensive repertoire of Abruzzo . The event was attended by the mayor Gaetano Vallescura and the Councillor for Social Policies Fabrizio Valloscura. A praise, then, to the Coop. Lasers that knows how to seize every opportunity to do keep alive the culture and traditions by offering, at the same time, moments of serenity and relaxation with the professionalism and commitment that everyone acknowledges.
