The new year's Concert was held with great success

2009 Te Deum

(Jan 10^th, 2009) As has become tradition for about twenty years, the Polyphonic Choir was organized together with the Parish of Santa Maria Assunta , the New Year's Concert "Te Deum Laudamus". Slowly Concerto , thanks to former Mayor Di Febo, it has become an annual event of Thanksgiving to God for the year that ends with the official participation of the civil and military authorities of the city. You may well say that this is one of the nice things about which politicians that have occurred in recent years can legitimately boast. The response of the public, always strong and shared, this confirms our belief. In recent years, several times we had the pleasure of having even a string orchestra that accompanied the Chorale "Lerario". This year, without orchestra for lack of financial resources, the concert was of a high standard. On Sunday, December the 28^th the Thanksgiving celebration began with a solemn Mass concelebrated by Fathers of the Parish , enlivened by the singing of the choir "PG Lerario", directed by director Franco Costantini and accompanied the organ with Professor Giamila Berre and the trumpet of Maestro Giuseppe Orsini.

Following the concert which offered important artistic contributions, in addition to the "Lerario" Choir which presented some Christmas songs of great beauty, the organist Giamila Berre, trumpet soloist Giuseppe Orsini, soprano Anita out and the trio Rocco Ronca (accordina), Daniela Fidanza (electric piano) and Simone Marini (bandoneon), who masterfully played two pieces by Astor Piazzola, the famous "Nonino" and an amazing "Ave Maria".

At the end of the concert grand finale with the sacred hymn "Te Deum Laudamus" for three choir odd voices and orchestra, composed by our Franco Costantini.
